Lake Van Norden

Lake Van Norden is a charm that is frequently overlooked as it sits close to a couple of ski resorts and is quite close to I-80. Get off I-80 at the Sugar Bowl, Royal Gorge exit and go East to the Lake.

Birds:White Pelican, Bald Eagle, Osprey, Evening Grosbeak, White Crowned Sparrow, Common Merganser, Pine Siskin, Spotted Sandpiper, and waterfowl of various sorts.
